Marshall County Blueberry Festival ‎2010

Blue goes Green Recycling Program: The numbers are in.

At this year's Blueberry Festival, 4.21 tons of cardboard and 2.28 tons of plastic bottles and aluminum cans were recycled, keeping 6.49 tons of materials out of the local landfill! That's a lot of trash, or non-trash depending on your point of view!

In 2009, the amount of items recycled were 3 tons.

A big THANK YOU to Marianne Peters our Recycling Coordinator, Mike Good of Marshall County Solid Waste District Recycle Depot and the entire "Green Team"!
